SPX MGMT LLC is an alternative investment firm formed in 2023 to provide sophisticated investors with an alternative to ineffective active trading strategies. The strategy is currently trading live within an incubator fund, with anticipation of a private offering sometime in late 2024.
The strategy was developed by the Firms’ founder, David Chau in 2022. Unlike other quantitative strategies that are back-tested over predictable market and volatility conditions, the strategy was fine-tuned in a live trading environment.
Based on predictable money flows, option pricing modes, and understanding in which conditions the strategy performs best, the objective is to generate high average monthly returns with average market risk.

David Chau, Founder and Chief Investment Officer
David Chau is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of SPX MGMT LLC, a boutique alternative investment firm focused on non-directional options strategies, and the founder of InsideOptions, an online options training group. A serial entrepreneur, David has formed and invested in various start-ups and emerging companies.
In 2020, he formed InsideOptions, mentoring more than 900 beginning and advanced options traders. As CIO of SPX MGMT LLC, David oversees all investment management and trading decisions.
